On the Ranch

The ranch that Infinity Outfitters hunt on is located in Menard, Texas. The ranch is a privately owned ranch by the Russell’s since 1910. The Russell Ranch consists of 11,000 acres located 11 miles west of town almost in Fort McKavett. Rock Creek flows through the ranch providing plenty of water for the animals. It was high fenced in the early 90’s before two groups of axis and Blackbuck were introduced in 94’. No other axis and Blackbuck were brought in. Making the current herd an established and self-sustaining herd. The ranch has a variety of terrain that has been favorable for the deer. From mesquite flats to rolling rocky hills, there is a wide variety for the deer to thrive on. Live oaks, mesquite, and scrub brush makes up the vegetation on this ranch. Infinity Outfitter's hunting techniques consist of stand hunting over feeders, spot and stalking, and covering as much country on the rangers as possible. The ranch has a world class herd of axis, blackbuck, and red sheep. Axis bucks range up to 37”, blackbuck up to 24”, and red sheep over 30” and they are harvested very well. Guides will cape, skin, and quarter the animals for easy transportation. The ranch has plenty of lodging for small or large groups of hunters. Lodging consist of three different sleeping quarters. With community and private bathrooms. We provide linen but most hunters bring bedrolls. In the middle of all the sleeping quarters, lies the chow hall (30x30 kitchen, dining, and tv watching area) and it has a fully stocked kitchen for your cooking needs, that’s if you choose to prepare your own meals.
